I added a textured pattern to the front of the settings and antiqued them (intentional darkening of the silver) to bring out the depth of the patterns

I cut the stones to show the layering in the paint

This red was the top most color in this batch of fordite so where you see the red it's slightly recessed which allows the other colors within the red area to peek through

The fordite in this piece has nice colors and a wavy pattern to it. I secured the fordite to the steel with epoxy and pins similar to a knife blade. The fordite came from the plant at Parkway in Toledo Ohio and is a premium piece. To wear this clip slide it onto your tie and then slide into your shirt.
